Practicing for the End of Life

Amy has been inspiring students, volunteers, nurses, families and care providers in the area of end-of-life care and as a clinician she has worked with numerous  dying people and their families.

She has been at the bedside learning from living and dying patients for the past 22 years.  As a nurse, counselor, relative and friend she has experienced both what it is to be a caregiver of a loved one and a professional care provider and also appreciate the many ways that people choose to make their end of life journey.

This book grew from the desire to chronicle some of their stories that have taught invaluable lessons.  She lives and practices on an island in the Pacific Northwest.

A book written by a professional dying coach relating what her patients have taught her.
